Suitable for both paramedics responding on-site and clinicians operating within a hospital environment, this application aims to facilitate structured and effective management of adult cardiac arrest cases. Developed by a team of clinicians from prominent inner-city teaching hospitals, it aligns with the latest Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines from 2021.

The app serves as an essential aide-memoire, helping users keep track of critical tasks that may easily be overlooked amid high-stress situations. iArrest features several timers, which aid in rhythm analysis, adrenaline administration timing, and documentation of the arrest process. It provides audible and visual reminders for necessary interventions, ensuring that even if a clinician's phone is muted, important alerts are still received. Additionally, iArrest is optimized to prevent devices from entering sleep mode, allowing uninterrupted usage throughout the entirety of the cardiac arrest event.

iArrest meticulously records the precise timing of significant events and interventions, offering users a comprehensive log of actions taken. This logging feature allows for easy copying to the clipboard for documentation and record keeping purposes.

Currently, iArrest is undergoing rigorous evaluation within both simulated environments and real-world scenarios, with ongoing efforts to enhance and expand its capabilities.
